It was the U.S. Army against the Cheyenne Arapho.

What happened
A Colorado territory militia attacked the peaceful village of Cheyenne Arapho.

It happened in Southeastern Colorado.

It happened on November 29, 1864.

Why it happened
It happened because the Natives moved to a spot in which they had no permission to be there.

How it effected the natives
It was a huge loss to Cheyennes tribe. Took away 1/4 of there tribe.
