Baby Birds Mimic Toxic Caterpillars

By Jordan Zuge (Me)

Amazon Rainforests

In 1982 scientists thought they were disguised as a fruit

in 2012 they found out it was mimicking a animal

They would only put there head up for food

When it grows up it loses its orange

I think this bird is awesome for many reasons. First, not many birds can disguise them self as another animal. Second, I think it is amazing how good they transform. lastly, I can't believe it took scientists this long to figure it out. Those are some reasons I think these birds are amazing.
