Slide Notes

Welcome to Mrs. Crawford's Back to School Night Presentation. Please take a few moments and go over the material at home before or after Back To School Night. On August 31, 2017 at 6:30. Back to School Night will be in Room 20 where we will get to know each other as well as answer any questions you might have for the year.
A little about me, I was raised in Placentia, California. I have been an Orange County resident my whole life. I currently live in Huntington Beach with my Husband "Bob the Builder" as well as my "little baby" Chille; my 5 year old Daushand. I love to surf, ride bikes, run, dance and play soccer. On my down time I love a good book as well as watching football. The Pittsburgh Steelers are my team and have been since I was a little girl.
I attended Cal State Fullerton where I earned my Bachelor in Science, Human Services. I then proceeded to earn my Multiple Subject Credential. My love for teaching started when I was a little girl visiting my mom's classroom. I inspire to be the best possible educator I can be, and in return I promote individual growth through a safe, fun learning environment. I am compassionate, hard-working and dedicated to my students. I do hope to see you at back to school night where we can meet in person and discuss the partnership for your child's education.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

  • Teaching the Whole Child
  • Embrace Each Others Differences
  • Challenge the Mind
  • Respect, Trust and Learn from our mistakes
My philosophy is to teach to each child while embracing their differences and challenging their minds. I do this with differentiation in the classroom and on-going observations and assessments. I promote shared inquiry and language strategies at all times.

I care deeply about the individual and their needs, please remember to bring your letter about your child to Back to School Night.

Respecting each other and trusting ourselves in the learning process will require patience and grit. Mistakes will be made, but knowing we will learn from them and grow as an individual is the most exciting part of our education.
