CREATION OF PAINT
Natural paint started to appear during the last Ice Age, about 30,000 years ago. Natural materials were crused to make paint. The reason paint/painting started to appear was because of communication. Early humans used painting as a form of communication.(Wilkinson)

CHANGE/GROWTH
The first types of paint were made out of crushed plants and berries and dirt mixed with water. Society became more advanced and discovered paint could be made out of different material.
The Anicent Greeks, Romans and Egyptians made paint out lead and vinegar. But, the lead in the paint killed and posined people, so the ingredients were changed.(Pullaronic)

CHANGE/GROWTH

During the Middle Ages, tempera paint was created. Tempera was easily acessable because it was egg based. The eggs made the paint dry very quickly. Because of the quick drying paint, details could not be added and the picture was usually flat and unrealistic.(Clark)

CHANGE/GROWTH
Oil paint is made from natural oils and pigments. The natural oils in the paint make it dry slower and the natural pigments made the color more vibrant. The oil paints made it possible to create the illusion of light. This made the painting more 3D.(Clark)

IMPACT
Artists show a glimpse of past present and future in their artwork. Art shows the styles and opinions of the time. For example, Pop Art was a very new, different type of artwork when it came out in the 50s. People were beginning to change about thoughts of integration and the change in type of art showed this. Art let's our imagination go farther than ever before.(Ekcert)

FUTURE OF ART/PAINTING
Art will be very different in the future. It will probably be digitally created and not handcrafted. The art will be more complex and have much finer details. Art will be able to reach many more people than ever before because of technology. (Jewell)
