DEPENDENT AND INDEPENDENT VARIABLES
An independent variable is what you change on purpose in an experiment.
The dependent variable is the variable that changes because of the independent variable.
Example:
A man is running a mile. He wants to know which type of shoe makes him run the fastest.
Independent Variable: type of shoe
Dependent Variable:
How fast he runs
