The war into heaven street which was where liesels parents home was.

The war was devastating so the Germans civilians were hiding underground.

Then bombings went into the street which liesel was living in but she was underground.

After hours of bombings and gun shots the war was finally over and liesel and her parents along with Rudy were safe and hitler was gone for good. Also max was safe and saw liesel after all the years he was gone during the war.
