• Ex- a vacuum

• Bending of waves around a barrier or through an opening
• Ex- hearing music from far away

INTERFERENCE

• Two or more waves overlapping

CONSTRUCTIVE INTERFERENCE

• When the crest of one wave overlaps the crest of another wave

DESTRUCTIVE INTERFERENCE

• Happens when the crest of one wave and the toughs of another wave overlap

• When one object that is vibrating causes another to vibrate
