This report is about the Great Depression this was a time that people lost their jobs and homes.

A good thing happened to the United States during World War II the Great Depression ended. People had jobs and could make money again.

The Great Depression (1929-39) was the deepest and longest-lasting economic downturn in the history of the western industrialized countries.

In 1929, the economy was in trouble. This was called the Great Depression during this time, people lost their jobs.

Franklin Roosevelt became the president in 1933 and had a plan to help the United States. This plan was called the new deal.

I learned about world war 2 and the loss of jobs. Then getting money back after the war
