SPENDING PLAN FOR THE GOVERNMENT

DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

• Their job is to manage natural disasters
• Operating, preparedness, state grants are what the money goes into
• Prevent attacks
• The President should support my plan because it only cost 33,200(in millions)
• And because with a little cut we only spending big money on things that count

DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY

• Programs include Medicare, and head start
• This department cost came to be 83,500 (in millions)
• The president should support my plan b/c the big $ went to most important
• In order to keep helping the people we must keep what's needed
• And forget about what's wanted

DEPARTMENT OF STATE &OTHER INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS

• Used to insure the security of the nation
• Total cost to activate plan 56,000
• My plan should get support we lowered peacekeeping missions
• But spent more on operating why risk war when goal was to make peace

DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY

• Used to eliminate unnessary jobs
• Invest in techonolgy
• Mandatory expenditures interest and pay owed
• President should use this because the big bucks are used to help us

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY

• Main goal to protect environment & reduce pollution
• They want to teach ppl on better ways to help the environment
• The most money was spent on operating expenses
• The president should use this b/c are main focus is to keep earth safe

SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION

• Protection of long term
• All expenses stayed the same
• The money used is to insure that everyone 65 & up are helped
• The president doesn't change this due to all drama it would bring
