Biologist and other scientists are working on

Finding the reason for the decline

Red wolves used to roam the south eastern u.s

But by 1970 they were almost wiped out .

In 1973 the remaining red wolves were taken to safe orginizations

For breeding and repopulation. They were eventually released.

People Are still poaching them though so the NWF and a

Other federations offer $33000 to anyone who helps get a poacher

There are only three truly free ranging bison herds

The nwf is working to return wild bison
