"Percy can pass seventh grade" (Riordan 5).
Percy struggles in school because he is barely passing seventh and has severe ADHD.

"What do you mean? I said. "That makes no sense!" Annabeth said give them the eye now" (Riordan 36). Percy questions many things and is confused a lot of the time. He also does many things without thinking.

"I promised I'd keep you from danger. I can only do that by coming with you" (Riordan 107)
Percy is loyal to his friends especially to Annabeth and Grover who are his best friends.

"I dove but still got raked across the back by a dozen of jagged branches. I was bleeding and bruised and exhausted" (Riordan 228).
Percy helping Tyson by diving and saving his life shows that Percy is a brave character.
