Rain
Cause- water evaporates, goes to a cloud until the cloud gets too heavy and all water comes out in a warm enough place to come down as rain.

Snow
Cause- water evaporates and goes to a cloud, cloud moves to cold place and water turns into ice crystals, crystals stick together to make snowflakes, cloud gets heavy and it snows

Hail
Cause- It rains (as described) and then the drops blow to a cold place and ice covers it. It happens over and over until the hail gets as big as a golf ball, then blows away with other hail and goes to a cold place.

Sleet
Cause- It rains (as described before) but midway down it gets too cold for rain and the rain turns to sleet.
