• From bright patterns to jeans and a tshirt the fashion in this region varies.
• When it comes to their traditional clothing it is very distinctive and original.
• Music in this region is usually fast and upbeat, something to get you on your feet

EDUCATION

• Children are limited to education due to poverty
• Families either choose who is getting an education or they don't get an education at all

LAND USE

• Land is used for farming and livestock.
• Families share land in different villages
• Many families live around the area together.

TRADING NETWORKS

• The Trans Saharan Trade network is the network most of Africa use to trade
• It's the travel of trade through the Sahara desert to other places throughout Africa

DIVERSITY

• Many Islamic people live throughout Africa although most live in North Africa, they are the minority group.
• Woman are the mans second in command. They are looked down on as stereotypical cook for your husband
• The man is usually in charge of the household.
