PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Buddhism is a nontheistic religion that encompasses a variety of traditions, beliefs and practices largely based on teachings attributed to Siddhartha Gautama, who is commonly known as the Buddha, meaning "the awakened one".
Karma
-specifically refers to those actions of body, speech or mind that spring from mental intent.
-the cycle of suffering and rebirth for each being.
Reincarnation
-Refers to a process where beings go through a succession of lifetimes as one of many possible forms of sentient life
The Four Noble Truths:
1:The truth of dukkha (suffering, anxiety, unsatisfactoriness)
2:The truth of the origin of dukkha
3:The truth of the cessation of dukkha
4:The truth of the path leading to the cessation of dukkha
