Telenoid, the "minimalistic human", was created by Hiroshi Ishiguro to comfort people with dementia.
The DARPA Robotics Challenge is a prize competition which aims to develop semi-autonomous ground robots that can do "complex tasks in dangerous, degraded, human-engineered environments.
