THE BENEFITS OF GOING TO COLLEGE

  • The athlete's future is secured
  • It enhances the knowledge of the player
  • It teaches them maturity at a young age

  • It allows teams to look for potential players with better talent
  • It gives players to more time to develops skills physically and mentally
  • It prepares them for the hardships of being pro athlete

BENEFITS

  • They will have fully learned the nuances of the game
  • The pro game is played better by collegians
  • There's bigger opportunities after retirement

THE DISADVANTAGES OF NOT GOING TO

COLLEGE AT LEAST A YEAR

DISADVANTAGES

  • Athletes are not academically motivated
  • Only 1 in 16,000 high school athletes get in to professional sports
  • Athletes don't have a back up plan after they retire

DISADVANTAGES

  • Athletes play like adults read like 5th graders
  • They'll get signed to an unfair contract
  • Less than 1% of getting into the sport the athletes want

DISADVANTAGES

  • They won't able to support their families
  • They'll have more medical injuries than not
  • They'll have health problems later on in life
