SANXIAN- A LONG NECKED LUTE WITH THREE STRINGS WITHOUT FRETS.

RUAN- COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS "CHINESE GUITAR"

IS AN ANCIENT FOUR STRINGED MOON SHAPED INSTRUMENT.

GUQIN- SEVEN STRINGED ZITHER WITHOUT BRIDGES, THE MOST CLASSICAL CHINESE

INSTRUMENT WITH OVER 3000 YEARS OF HISTORY.

KONGHU- ONE OF THE MOST ANCIENT CHINESE MUSIC INSTRUMENT

THAT APPEARED IN WRITTEN TEXTS OF THE SPRING AND AUTUMN PERIOD.

ERHU- A TWO STRINGED FIDDLE IS ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR CHINESE INSTRUMENTS IN

HUQIN

YANGQIN- CHINESE HAMMERED DULCIMER WITH A NEAR-SQUARED SOUND BOARD.

HYOSHIGI- WOODEN OR BAMBOO CLAPPERS

KOKYU- BOWED LUTE WITH THREE STRINGS AND A SKIN COVERED BODY.

GEOMUNGO- A FRETTED BASS WITH SIX STRINGS THAT IS PLUCKED WITH

A BAMBOO STICK.

HAEGEUM- A VERTICAL FIDDLE WITH TWO STRINGS.

AJAENG- A BOWED ZITHER, DERIVED FROM THE CHINESE YAZHENG USED

TODAY ONLY INMUNMYO JERYEAN.

YANGGEUM- A HAMMERED DULCIMER WITH COTTON STRINGS STRUCK

WITH A BAMBOO STICK.

DAEGEUM- A LARGE TRANSVERSE BAMBOO FLUTE WITH BUZZING MEMBRANE.

JUNGGUEM- A MEDIUM- SIZED TRANSVERSE BAMBOO FLUTE WITHOUT BUZZING

MEMBRANE.
