Graphics Engineer

  • Graphic engineers use computer-aided design and imaging software to create digital sketches of models and plans. Graphics engineers make integrated graphics and visual effects systems that are used in the design and development of software applications, such as video games and operating systems.
  • Graphics engineering jobs can be found in the fields of (CAD), video game design, software and applications development, marketing, entertainment, and Internet technologies. As a graphics engineer, you could find possible employment with an architecture or engineering firm, a construction company, a software developer, or a government agency.
  • Graphics engineers are specialized in skill. Excellent communication skills would be needed, since you'll be working with artists, developers, producers, and clients. Because you work in both 2-D and 3-D, you need to have a keen sense of perspective, as well as strong critical-thinking abilities.
