IN 1827 HE GRADUATED COLLEGE, AND 1 YEAR LATER HE WAS AWARDED THE POSITION OF FIRST PROFESSOR OF MATHEMATICS AT UNIVERSITY COLLEGE IN LONDON.

HE WROTE MANY BOOKS AND ARTICLES ON BOTH MATHEMATICS AND LOGIC, AS WELL AS A WIDE VARIETY OF OTHER SUBJECTS.

ASSEMBLED A LARGE PERSONAL LIBRARY OF OVER 3000 BOOKS, A CONSIDERABLE FEAT, FOR HE WAS NEVER WEALTHY.

SOME OF THE MOST FREQUENTLY APPLIED IN THE MODERN PROOF THEORY AND ARE WIDELY USED IN SOFTWARE PROGRAMMING AS WELL.
