We,the Ohlone tribe lived here at mission San Jose.

Each day started at around sunrise for us.We would have breakfast for 45 minutes, then we would head to work.

We would work in 50-60 degree temperatures.Different genders had different duties.Us men would go to the fields to tend the crops or to help the animals while the women stayed at the mission to work on chores like weaving clothes or boiling fat to make candles.

We did not feel good about the mission. We felt that our land shall be undisturbed and untouched.

And that is how life is in this horrible mission.
