PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Soot face's sister's always made her fetch some fire. All they would ever do is make Soot face show her anger, but they failed. The two sisters also wiped ashes on Soot face, that's how she got her name.
Then there came a mighty warrior who was looking for a wife to marry. The warrior wanted to find a wife who was honest and kind. The only way he could know is if the lucky girl tells his sister what his bow is made of.
One day by the river bank, Soot face's sisters left to go see the mighty warrior so they could see if they could guess what his bow is made of. But they both failed miserably. After all, they weren't honest nor kind.
Then one day Soot face decided to visit the hunters lodge to see the handsome warrior, and future husband, but her sisters started to make up many excuses to make her not go.
Then the whole village and stepsisters joined in and began to tease and laugh at Soot face, but instead of fighting back, Soot face simply ignored them.
Soot face continually went to the forest and asked nature for a pretty garnet made from birch bark she could wear!
Soot face went to the warrior's sister, she asked ,"what is the warrior's bow made of?" Soot face replied, "A beautiful rainbow!"
In the end the warrior and beautiful Soot face lived happily ever after.The warrior found his honest and kind wife. The two stepsisters did chores at home, everything was great!
