• They told lots of stories.

HOMES

• The Dakota/Lakota people lived in large buffalo hide tents called tepees
• The Sioux tribe tipis used to be two feet high
• After the Sioux got horses they built it four feet tall
• Today Native Americans only put up a tepee for fun or to connect to there heritage

FOODS

• The Sioux would hunt for deer and sheep.
• They cooked their food over a fire.
• There was lots of forests so they had plenty of animals to kill.

CLOTHES

• The clothes of the Sioux were handmade.
• They wore wedding dresses too.
• The men would wear headdresses.

GEOGRAPHY

• The Sioux lived in Iowa.
• They went freely to north Ilinois.
• It was grassy in North and South Dakota.
