SUMMARY

  • People who got the testosterone
  • Shot were more hostile in movement
  • And in body language.

AIM

  • Psychologists wanted to see how testosterone
  • Affects human behavior.

METHODS/PROCEDURES

  • Some people were given a placebo others were injected
  • With testosterone, then they were shown pictures of faces
  • That were either angry, happy, or neutral. Each face also
  • Had colors to help enhance the message of emotion.

FINDINGS

  • The people who received testosterone stared at the
  • Angry faces longer than the placebo group which is an
  • Aggressive move. They also found that none of the participants
  • Recognize the faces so it means it was a subconscious reaction
  • While viewing the pictures. Also none of the participants said their mood changed

INTERESTING FACTS

  • The participants couldn't tell they were becoming more aggressive.
  • They weren't aware that they were making hostile movements
  • And body language.
