  • WERNHER VON BRAUN WAS ONE OF THE WORLDS BEST ROCKET ENGINEER'S.
  • A ROCKET ENGINEER STUDIES ROCKETS AND HOW THEY WORK.
  • HE WORKED ON THINGS SUCH AS LIQUID-FUELED AIRCRAFT AND JET-ASSISTED TAKEOFFS.
  • ROCKET ENGINEERS DEVELOPED THINGS LIKE THE LONG-RANGE BALLISTIC MISSLE AND THE WASSERFALL SUPERSONIC ANTIAIRCRAFT MISSLE.

WERHNER VON BRAUN

  • Werhner Von Braun was born in Wirsitz, Germany on March 23, 1912.
  • He was born into an Aristocratic Family.
  • Von Braun received his doctorate from the University of Berlin.
  • In 1936, he became technical director at the new military development facility at Peenemünde.
  • His life came to an end in 1977, caused by his pancreatic cancer.

VON BRAUN'S CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Created the first sophistication of rockets in 1944.
  • In 1952 he became technical director of the army's ballistic weapon program.
  • He Created V-2 rocket during World War Two.
  • He eventually became the director of NASA.
  • Led more than 100 people from his rocket team to surrender to the allies.

VON BRAUNS'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • He engineered the surrender of 500 of his best rocket scientists, and also plans over to Americans.
  • Von Braun became chief architect of the Saturn V launcher, it propelled the Americans to the moon.
  • His Wonderful creation of the V-2 rocket flew at speeds of 3,500 miles per hour.
  • It was first flown through the air in 1942 during WW 2.
  • He became director of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

IMPACTS HE MADE

  • His creations and studies are still used today.
  • We can look back and admire his accomplishments.
  • Many people look up to him as one of the worlds role models.
  • His family had nothing to do with rocket science, or until before Von Braun was born.
  • If he doesn't make an impact on you, you don't know rocket science or an amazing rocket engineer.

HOW HE HELPED HUMANITY

PEOPLE INSPIRED BY HIM

  • Many people today are inspired by Von Braun's work and creations.
  • He was one of the greatest rocket engineers that ever lived.
  • He is known for his creation of the V-2, the rocket in which the Nazi's used during WW2
  • Also, for the bravery he had to surrender 500 of his best men to the allies.
  • We will always remember Wernher Von Braun as one of the most influential rocket scientists.

HIS CHRISTIAN LIFE

  • He grew up as a Lutheran and had little interest in his religion.
  • When he became an adult, he saw the importance and dedicated his life to God.
  • He was happy with the time he had to speak with peers about his beliefs.
  • He became a Christian by hearing someone preaching it to him.

HOW HIS WORK GLORIFIED GOD

  • Von Braun's work glorified God in certain ways, such as he when he surrendered his best men to the allies.
  • That is an example of how he trusted God and what he had in the future already planned for him.
  • Also, Von Braun dedicated his work to Jesus Christ (after he became a Christian).
  • His religion was that he was in Lutherism and he was devoted to Jesus Christ our Savior.
