THE TYPES OF ABUSE.

  • The first type is physical
  • The second type is emotional
  • The final is sexual

Physical abuse is being aggressive towards partner

Emotional abuse is calling your partner names and trying to isolate them from friends and family

Sexual is abuse is touching your partner inappropriately.

  • Hitting your partner
  • Kicking your partner
  • Biting your partner
  • Or anything that involves contact

  • Calling your partner names
  • Isolating them from friends
  • Isolating from family
  • Blaming them all the time

CYCLES OF ABUSE ARE

  • Tension building
  • The explosion
  • The honeymoon

The first stage of the cycle is tension. And that is caused if either of the partners where something the other partner doesn't like

The second stage is the explosion. That is where one of the partners starts yelling and hitting his or her partner

The final stage is the honeymoon. At this point he will constantly apologize and bring gifts and flowers
