KNOCK
- Knock is located in mayo and is a small town
- It is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage
BACKGROUND
- On Thursday the 21st of August 1879
- 15 lucky people witnessed the application of the blessed Virgin mary
- Saint Joseph and Saint John the evangelist was also witnessed
- On the south gable end of the church
- There was also an altar and a lamb
- A basilica is built beside the church
THE VISIT
- Along with the regular people who visited knock,
- The pope and many more were among the most significant .
- He visited in 1945 , 1960
- A candle and a foundation stone was given to knock
