how are fossils formed?

do you know alot about Fossils and do you want to learn more?First, Most Fossils form Over a very long time, as animals and plants are buried under mud and sand and slowly turn to rock. next, the ammonite shell was gradually buried in layers of sand or sediment. last over time, water seeped into the shell and minerals in the shell. do you want to learn more about fossils?

who was the first paleontologist and what did they discover?

Mary Anning found and made a plesiosaurus as a little girl. Mary Anning found 55 fossils when she was little, and as also selling them. do you want to learn more?

what do you have to do in school to become a paleontologist? the University of texas has a huge Collecton of Fossils. depends on your age, you don't need to take special paleontology courses until graduate school. digging up dinosaurs is great fun. seeing a T.Rex up close and personal,the full sized skeleton at a museum made us want to study dinosaurs. it's alot of fun to work with the students in texas. now you know what you have to do to become a paleontologist.
