The boys and girl lose their
memories and cannot
remember anything about
themselves.

Everyone who is trapped in the Maze tries to escape and cannot do so for two years until Thomas arrives.
Rising Action:
The first girl ever to enter the Glade comes and begins many overwhelming questions of survival
Climax:
Thomas and Teresa think of how to escape when Teresa has an idea that the Maze is a code that each day and section represents a letter and forms words and phrases that can help all of them get out.
Resolution:
The kids find their way out of the Maze by a Hole inside of it that leads to the real world. The book leaves us with the conflict of no memories for anyone and the troubles the real world will face them now that they escaped the Maze.
Themes:
- Never give up; No matter what problem you face, kept on going until the end and eventually you will get what you deserve.
-Always be determined; Thomas made a choice to survive and he has because he was confident in himself that he could save himself and the other kids.
