My backround
I am from Vermont
I believe that free men have more motivation to work,
compared to an enslaved man.
where the manual labor is performed by slaves,
labor dishonors the hands of free men

Parts I agree with
I agree with the idea of abolishing slave trade in D.C
I am happy about California becoming a free state,
So slaves cannot take a free mans job
I am happy that we were able to obtain Mew Mexico from Texas

7.
Things I do not Agree with
I do not agree with New Mexico and Utah being able to vote
on slavery
Slavery should not be allowed in our Capitol
I won't bring back slaves to their masters because we must fight slavery
