• There are many different ways that Amelia impacted our nation and helped women gain basic rights.

WHY WAS AMELIA A HISTORICAL FIGURE?

• She was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic
• She used her fame from flying to help women gain rights
• When she disappeared during her solo flight around the world, everyone was curious of what happened to her

HOW DID SHE HELP WOMEN GAIN THEIR RIGHTS?

• She used her fame to inform people why women should have rights
• She thought all women can have the right to be independent without a husband if they choose so.

HOW DID AMELIA OVERCOME DOUBTS OF MEN AND DID THE IMPOSSIBLE?

• She stayed strong and kept her head high
• She thought that if women wanted to be independent, they could choose to be or not to be

CONCLUSION

• Amelia Earhart was an amazing women that stood up for her beliefs. She kept her head held high when things got tough. Many people doubted her but she stayed strong. She helped women gain some basic right by spreading awareness with her fame from flying.
