• Strong critical analysis skills
• "So What?" -- Relating the text to the community around you

What You Should Expect

• Your daughter's homework will be to read!
• They will be working on essays and studying for unit tests and vocab quizzes

How You Can Help

• Help them study for vocab tests
• Encourage your daughter to keep up with the readings and to stay on task.
• Remind your daughter not to write a paper all in one night!
• Encourage your daughter to come talk to me for any help they may need.
• Encourage your daughter to do an extra credit booktalk!
