Animals and birds eat the berries and drop the seeds which makes the porcelain berry grow.

Porcelain berries grow over trees and shrubs, blocking the sunlight and weighing down the branches.

Besides the negative impact, the porcelain berry is actually used to treat liver disease in Asia.

Animals are really the ones that make porcelain berries survive so well. When they drop the seeds, the plant grows again. Then, other animals will eat it and drop the seeds again.

It's kind of like a cycle!

One way to lower the amount of porcelain berries is to plant a fast-growing tree such as a red maple next to it.
