In a careful or cautious manner

They had to be careful as they went down the steps to not fall.

A cap that holds a thing together so it does not split

The ferrules had to go around the barrel so it would not fall apart or lose it strength.

To be part of and spread out

The man had to use a gas mask so he would not die from the pervading gas that surrounds him.

An extra part of clothing or equipment that helps you

The backpack was an accoutrement that helped the man to hold his survival gear.

A bright blue and green poison on copper

The boy did not touch the copper needle because there was verdigrease on it.

Looking or sounding sad

The toy was lugubrious because none of the kids would play with him.

The fear of something bad happening

The act of helping some one that is sick get better

The medicines helped ail the patient because he was sick.

Manifested:
How someone looks by the way the act

The way Billy´s maifest was it looked like he was sick
