World War 1 positives and negatives

U-Boats

• positives: were able to create undersea warfare, was something no one else really had or no knew of, was a surprise element to other countries
• negatives: could crush under too much pressure, sonar could mess up, a very difficult job

Tanks

• positives: provided cover, ran on tracks, did not get stuck
• negatives: expensive, very slow, a negative for other countries was that is was very hard to take down

Airplanes

• positives: could drop weapons from higher altitude, did not get right into the ground war, they were faster
• negatives: did not live long, many got shot by other pilots, very dangerous

Posion Gas

• positives: countries that used it stayed away when it was used, was thrown from the air, killed many people almost instantly
• negatives: toxic agents, severly lessended population of other countries armies, this gas could is extemely poisonous

Machine guns

• positives: could fire many bullets very quickly, very fast, supplied many jobs
• negatives: belt with bullets could get messed up, heavy to carry, many deaths for other countries
