Alexander Graham Bell invented the first telephone. He was 29 years old when his basic telephone was granted in 1876.

His invention of the telephone change the way we do things. Without the telephone we wouldn't be able to communicate with people far away from us. Also the telephone was faster and easier to use instead of a telegraph
