The binary number system is a method of representing numbers that has 2 as it's base and uses only the digits 0 & 1.

0=0 1=1 2=10 3=11 4=100 5=101 6=110 7=111 8=1000 9=1001 10=1010...

From 100...
Start back at 0 again, add one to the number on the left, that number is already at 1 so it also goes back to 0, and 1is added to the next position on the left. 101
