  • The crust is the layer of earth that we live on.
  • Makes up about 1% of the earth.
  • It's about 3-6 miles thick.

THE MANTLE

  • The mantle is about 2886 kilometers (1793 miles)
  • The mantle is the layer between the crust and the outer core

THE OUTER CORE

  • It's about 1400 miles thick
  • 6100*c is how hot it is.

  • Solid because of the pressure.
