In trouble - suffering hardships, in a tough spot, up against it, experiencing difficulties, The things that drive us to pray.....
Then pray
Happy - feeling good emotionally, opposite of trouble
Then pick up the guitar and sing! Psalms of praise highlighting God's work and character

For the elders
Feeling weak physically
You ask for prayer.... Upon you.....
From the leaders.....could be the official church board or those who are the spiritual leaders in the church
Anointing with oil
Symbolizing the healing power of God
The work of the Holy Spirit
In the name of the Lord - Jesus is the healer, not the elders, the oil, but Jesus

Healing and Forgiveness
It's a package deal
Healing - literally save you from the disease, illness, whatever is keeping you down physically
Make you well.....literally ...raise you up
Forgiven -
If you have done anything that is still bothering you....crossed the line somehow or missed God's best......
and the impact of that decision lingers on in your life....
the offense will be let go....like a bird being released from your hands

To beg, implore, plead
Righteousness flows out of a life that confesses their sin and actually talks to God
Anticipating
Vs 15 three times. The Lord will.....
Give us strength - word for strong, ability, power to overcome
Give us energy, stamina - word we get english energy from
