• Without people working in the agricultural jobs food was not being eaten
• Soldiers died leaving the country unprotected
• All these people getting sick made Rome weak

• Some people followed him with a passion and others wanted him dead with a passion
• Religion is a very touchy topic that causes brutal fights ago people
• Jesus caused people to turn against each other because of difference of opinions
• Jesus caused people to doubt the Roman Empire, and threatened their power
