1875 = a Satisfactory score on 

  • Eng. I Reading (30 out of 56 items - 54%)
  • Eng. I Writing (40 out of 62 items - 65%)
  • Eng. II Reading (27 out of 56 items - 48%)
  • Eng. II Writing (38 out of 62 items - 61%)

That's complicated

And if they just failed Reading OR Writing?

May be exempt from re-test if

  • Passed either Reading or Writing at 1875
  • Met at least the Minimum Score on the other
  • Achieved a combined Scale Score at least 3750
  • *Must meet all three criteria
  • *Cannot mix/match Eng. I and II results

How to help your child

  • Ensure he attends school
  • Talk with him about what he is learning
  • Check his grades each six weeks
  • Know the testing schedule
