Renaissance: The rebirth of vintage knowledge, ideas of art and literature that began in Italy.

Zheng He: A voyager who launched 7 expeditions for the Ming Dynasty which contributed to the permission to trade with China.

Columbian Exchange: Between the Americans and Europe occurs the movement of people, animals, diseases, and ideas.

Reformation: Origin to Christian churches that rejected the Pope's rule by the movement of religious reform.

Atlantic Slave Trade: Africans who were captured were transported across the Atlantic to be sold and to work in The Americas in mines and plantations.

English Civil War: A clash between the English Parliament and Charles 1 that settled the authority of Parliament over monarchy.

Sikhism: A monotheistic religion that is non-violent and born in India. It's based on aspects of Hinduism and Islam.

Limited Monarchy: A type of government that originated in England in which the power is shared with an elected Parliament and constitutions limit the monarch's power.

Mercantilism: An economic policy in which nations desired to raise their wealth and power by obtaining large amounts of gold and silver and by selling goods.

Absolute Monarchy: A king or queen has absolute power and hopes to control all of society and claim to rule by divine right.

Glorious Revolution: A horrid revolt that overthrew the king of England who then signed into law the English Bill of Rights.

Capitalism: An economic system in which has private ownership and investments in business for money.

Ottoman Empire: The ones to gain control of land and sea trade routes between India, Asia, and changed Constantinople to Istanbul.

Secular: A concern with worldly matters rather than spiritual ones.

Printing Press: A machine made by Johannes Gutenberg in 1450 consisting of a movable type write. It later helped spread the ideas of the Reformation.

What revolution was the most important impact and why?: The Glorious Revolution had the most important impact because it was what brought down the King of England and decreased his power. This revolution helped citizens of all kinds, the poorer ones especially, gain access to more rights and made the king sign the English Bill of Rights. This Bill of Rights was an essential role model for the making of the world.
