Salk was born on October 28 1914 New York City.
Jonas Salk made vaccine for polio disease. Also studied the flu and tried to find the vaccine.
His parents were Russian-Jewish immigrants, they cared a lot about education. Later Jonas Salk was married to Donna Lindsay (1936-1968). He had 3 sons named: Peter, Pamell and Jonathan. Then he married franchise Gilot.
Jonas Salk died on June 23 1995 of a heart failure at his home Lajola California.
