HE WENT ON A JOURNEY

Tom Robinson's journey was the court trial. It was a short journey, but nonetheless, a journey no one would soon forget.

OBSTACLES

The trial had an " all white jury." The damage was done. Below us, nobody liked tom Robinson's answer." These two things are huge obstacles he had to face.

HE FACED FEAR

"I's scared I'd be in court."(225) "He won't win, and can't win." He knew he was going to lose, but went through with the trial anyway. To quote Atticus, "True courage is when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what."

HE PERSEVERED

He persevered through the trial even with other people lying about what he did.

HE GOT RESULTS

"We're making a step-it's just a baby step but it's a step."(246)

THE VERDICT

Tom Robinson was a hero with perseverance, the courage to take a journey, faced many fears and trials,and got results. But we will always remember the verdict of the jury : he was guilty in their eyes.
