Trojan horse- a hollow wooden statue of a horse in which the Greeks concealed themselves in order to enter Troy.

The Greeks, pretending to desert the war, sailed to the nearby island of Tenedos, leaving behind Sinon, who persuaded the Trojans that the horse was an offering to Athena that would make Troy impregnable.

The Greek warriors had been attempting to breach the wall around Troy for about ten years. The Greeks could not find a way in. also,the Trojans did not seem able to drive the Greeks away.

In computers, a Trojan horse is a program in which malicious or harmful code is contained inside harmless programming or data in a way that it can get control and do its chosen form of damage.
