WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
Some birds are being poached for their feathers.
Others are being exposed to diseases from pollution.

WHAT EVIDENCE IS THERE THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM?
Humans are moving into habitats, so many rare birds are now being seen.
Scientists are disturbing the birds by catching them for research.

WHAT CAUSES THE PROBLEM?
Poaching and killing.
People run out of money and can't get better jobs so they sell birds for hundreds of dollars.
People can't pay for their homes so they move to the forests, and disturb the animals habitat.
5.
WHAT IS BEING DONE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM?
Wildlife officers are making preservers for the endangered birds.
No one is allowed in the reserve.
If someone is caught killing,catching, or selling birds they have to serve 2 1/2 years in prison.
When officers find sick/injured birds they take them to a vet and are nursed back to health.

WHAT CAN WE DO INDIVIDUALLY TO HELP?
Some people have made websites and on them you can donate money for the birds.
People also have donated money to the vets who help the birds.
