MIDDLE EAST CONFLICTS:

  • These included religious differences and social inequality between races, gender, and religion.
  • All of these conflicts lead to multiple wars such as the Persian Gulf War and the Iraq War and terrorism attacks such as 911.
  • These all added to what we now know as American history.

OPERATION DESERT STORM:

  • Operation Desert Storm occurred in 1991.
  • Operation desert storm was a 42 day missal attack on Iraq in which then lead to the Persian Gulf War.
  • George W. Bush told the United States to retreat ( cease fire ) on Iraq , and by then most of Iraq soldiers had surrendered or retreated.

PERSIAN GULF:

  • This war began on August 2, 1990 and ended on February 28, 1991.
  • It was triggered by what is now known as Operation Desert Storm which occurred in 1990 as well.
  • This war ended which multiple casualties and Kuwait being liberated.

AN ATTACK OF TERRORISM:

  • 911 occurred on September 11, 2001
  • These attacks were lead by Osama Bin Laden, in careful organization
  • This happened at the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and a plain in Pennsylvania

CONCLUSION

  • All of the following attacks left unhappy civilians and multiple families suffering loses.
  • These attacks still happen today, with Isis being an example.
