WOMENS RIGHTS

  • They were forced to obey the man
  • They were born to work
  • They received little to no education
  • They were forced into marriage

  • The women's body rightfully the mans
  • Every man had the right to force the women into sex
  • A women could not file for a divorce
  • In the fathers will the daughter received little to nothin

WOMENS PLACE

  • In order to "survive" the women had to marry
  • Beating and raping was legal so they were very low in society
  • When you become a wife you basically are a piece of furniture
  • But being a mother is a sacred position back then
  • They were often said to be the angles of the house

WOMENS RIGHTS

  • Women were only socially good if they were pure
  • And if they were good mothers
  • Women were could be killed if they committed adultery
  • Also prostitution was legal
