THE TOP 3 REASONS ROME FELL

BY:AMANDA CASILLAS 4TH PERIOD

REASON #3 AGRICULTURAL PROBLEMS

  • The loss of land from wars led to issues in farming.
  • Soil then became "outworked and also reduced the economy.
  • I put this as #3 because it did effect Rome negatively but not as much as the other variables.

REASON #2 EXTERNAL INVASIONS

  • Germanic tribes invaded the west
  • Sassanid persians invaded the East
  • This led to wars that were expensive and were bringing down the economy.
  • Rome's economy was already low due to the outbreak of the plague.
  • This was #2 because this variable made a huge decrease in economy for Rome.

REASON #1 CHRISTIANITY

  • Christianity was becoming more popular in Rome.
  • This led to the disappearance of Roman values and the worship of the Gods
  • Rome could no longer be trusted after this so Rome religion no longer had followers.
  • I chose this for #1 because as an empire its important to have trust from others
  • And they no longer had trust from anyone which would soon break Rome.
