THE COSIN OF AN AIRPLANE

WHAT A GLIDER IS

  • A glider is the cousin to an airplane.
  • The only thing thats different is it has no engine.
  • Its also a tad bit smaller.

HOW IT WORKS

  • It glides the wind.
  • It can do this because it is very light.
  • First a plane drags it into the air.
  • Then the glider let go and it glides.

SIMILARITIES TO A GLIDER

  • One similarity is the hanglider.
  • Another similarity is a plane.
  • And one more similarity is a helicopter.

WHY A GLIDER IS CALLED A GLIDER

  • Well if you put it this way you know it glides the wind.
  • Another reason is that it has no engine.
  • Thats why it glides.
