• john madden was a player,coach,sports broadcaster then a video game creater
• he had a great impact on the players he played with, and the kids he coached
• he then became a sports broadcaster in 1980
• john was 33 when he started his career of coaching in nfl
• he was born april 10th 1936 in minnesota, he is now 79 years old

careers

• he was a defensive and offensive tackle, he got a full ride to oregon, he was drafted 21st round to the eagles for 1 year
• he started coaching in 1967 for the oakland raiders he coached there until he retired in 1979 from coaching
• then he became a sports broad caster in 1980 for football games in the nfl
• he later created a video game that was a number one seller, it was called madden
• after he was done he made a book series called madden
